Australia's strongest and most inspirational women will be honoured and celebrated at Cosmopolitan magazine's annual 'Fun, Fearless Female' awards in Sydney tonight.
Ladies who have lit up the screen, sports arena, boardroom, blogosphere, book world and a whole lot more are being championed by the readers of Cosmopolitan in the sixth year of the Fun, Fearless Female Awards. The annual awards recognise female achievement across 11 categories, and this year's finalists range from silver-screen starlets to everyday heroines and up-and-coming businesswomen to the cream of athletic talent.
Cosmopolitan readers control the outcome of the Fun Fearless Female Awards, with readers encouraged to cast their votes online before the winners are revealed at a VIP pink carpet awards gala at Guillaume at Bennelong. This year's finalists include:
* Actress: Emily Browning, Sophie Lowe and Rachael Taylor.
* Author: Alexandra Adornetto, Zoe Foster and Jessica Rudd.
