Slipknot is coming to SMITE - Another music x gaming crossover.
Traditionally music and larger pop culture connections have a track record of success. We can look to the Tomb Raider movie - game - merch connection, All Elite Wrestling with AEW Games with the likes of Chris Jericho (Fozzy and wrestling connection), Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 'Superman" (Goldfinger), Final Fantasy VI – Nobuo Uematsu, WWE 2K 18 -"Down With The Sickness" - Disturbed , and so it goes on. I like personalized features in games ala "Create A Character" getting away from the more cookie cutter templates. I'm interested to see in any of the Chance Thomas numbers make it into the latest version of the Avatar game. Interesting side note... for a few years the public buses in Sydney, Australia appear to have been running more advertising for video games than for movies, although over the past month the tide may have finally turned. Hope the audience sees some merit in my observations.
