As most of you know, I've put quite a few folks on Australian current affair programmes over the years.
Well now it's my turn, in a roundabout way.
Last Friday I was interviewed about the reality television business, publicity and more, and the interview is set to air this Monday night - Australian time.
My promotion of 'Fantasy Island' is what spaked the interested from Nine on this occasion, however they wanted my views from the standpoint of a former business associate of Charles Gant and 'Fantasy Island.
All of my clients and associates will do very well out of this interview, however my former client and associate from 'Fantasy Island' infamy won't do so well. A story appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald on Friday, in the Spike section, and it's not the sort of press Gant and Co wanted, mind you, he did say that "any publicity is good publicity", but I corrected him immidiatly. I gave the guy some positive publicity on Brisbane's 4BC Radio, but they went back on their word of doing the right thing by me - payment etc. Karma can be a bitch can't it!
I would like to publicaly thank Network Nine for allowing me the opportunity to be interviewed about my experiences with Charles Gant and his associates.
A big thank you to my clients and friends in the business who do the right thing. A massive thank you to Lewis O'Flynn, founder of Hottest On TV, and Bob Winstead, founder of 'Entrepreneurs - The Reality Show'.
In addition, immediatly after the Channel Nine interview I enjoyed an excellent meeting with Vodafone Australia, which could play a big part in an upcoming projects of mine incorporating Media Man Australia, Hottest On TV, AutoBabes, Australian Sports Entertainment, Entreprenuers - The Reality Show, EventsLeader.com and others.
Be watching this space, and tune into Network Nine's 'A Current Affair' on Monday 8th August 2005 at 6.30pm.
Best Regards
