Australian rock legends INXS performed at Campbelltown RSL Club tonight, as their Coast to Coast Tour continued.

They have been rocking for more than 30 years together and performed 5000 or so shows.

Guitarist Tim Farriss told news media that folks of the Macarthur region should brace themselves for the show of a life-time.

"The people of Campbelltown are going to get a surprise," he said. "It's one of the last shows on the tour so we are exited - big time.

"We'll be playing all the songs you really want to hear.

"People can expect to see INXS and a typical INXS show."

As well as touring Australia's regional and coastal hot spots the INXS band have been working away on a new album.

"People can expect a new record soon, we've been writing and hopeful will be recording by August," Farriss said. "Hopefully it will be released towards the end of the year."

INXS classics like 'Need You Tonight', 'Burn for You' and 'Never Tear Us Apart' were all belted our beautifually tonight and the fans went home very happy.

Zoophyte was the support group and they did a fantastic job in warming everyone up for the main event.
